Wind all over the shop, it was gusting 30mph last weekend and we did ok...i am planning 3 solid days at it but cant call it yet due to wind changing direction be the 6hr update

Am sure you be fine, at the moment it is saying no worse than last weekend and it was fine even with the gusts.

All of them ....... Honest, we will have same. A little early yet for shads but we did get some on them last week. Crab close in if you can get it but mainly squid and rag (on the hokkais and daylights)

May see you out there as we pass on the way to the wrecks, sea state be fine, drift be a tadd fast with wind and tide and odd shower but do we care...no as the proper season is here or maybe a week away

Do you have any good links for weather reports richy? Looking to go out Sunday but the report I've looked at changes all the time.

Good, occasionally moderate.

Everyone has their fav's but for me i use the Met Office, it is very good on getting the gusts right that so many sites miss off but it does update every 6hrs and can change quick. The way i look at it, if it is good enough for the air ambulance, ferry's, british rail and all the other services it is good for me 10hrs out fishing...i also use the marine sea state section on the met office it is very good at getting it right.....followed by a quick peek at Roker Web cam

We tried and failed today, wind savage and waves about 2-3 seconds apart making it very much dancing weather so heading in aafter trying a few close in marks. Footie and pub time i guess now.
