Here's the result from thursday night's match, fished in a huge S/E, high winds & driving rain:

9 fished & 1 weighed in 1 codling
1st - Gary Wilson, 1 fish 1lb 10.7oz (Blyth)

Caught last cast, but with 10 minutes still to go I decided enough was enough lol!

Cheers, Gary :)

i'm pleased i didn't fish now, the 2 places on the open shore i had thought of were the bible and the ramp behind charleys, but i've only had fish from those places on the ebb, and we weren't fishing much of it. so it would have been the dun cow, huddled behind the back of the car trying to keep dry! being a fine weather fisherman, i'd be lucky if i'd lasted until 8 o'clock!

suprized u even got a chuck on blyth gary m8 we were on crisps & the waves were the hight of houses coming round the front of st mary's & rolling in2 hartley.

Should have said Blyth River mate - I was skulking next to the fence by the old RNLI building....no real shelter there but could pretend like it was a wall lol!
