If I'd just been relying on xc weather this week, I'd never have left the house. Light to no winds, calm with any breeze there was mostly from the west. And they had it right.
Magic seaweed had Monday, light swell after a bit more in the morning. I decided to give it a go off the beach.
Real world, there was a good sea running on Sunday night, still a bit left first thing, dropping off after high tide. Magic seaweed had it right.
Tuesday hardly a breath of wind, Magic seaweed gave decent swell, about 4 feet. Real life, there was a good wave hitting the beach. More than Monday.
Wednesday - another dead calm sunny day with a SE just stirring the flags in the afternoon. Magic seaweed gave a couple of feet swell, after more height in the morning. Real life, just as they predicted.
The sea was spot on for fishing the past three days when looking out of the window and at XC weather would have suggested flat calm. The ocean swell coming in from the north made all the difference.
The only problem is, there were no bloody fish!
