Sea Angler......in or out? & what of the others.

What the hell is going on at seaham ? rumors are now curculating that sea angler has pulled their sponsorship of the club, and what of the others ?. Answers are needed , we now hear Lewis barnes has resigned his position as a committee man, this very surprising because everyone knows how proud Lewis is of seaham club.Something very strange is going on and if the situated is not arested soon the seaham club will inevitabley close.I remember a very simular situation occuring at my former club, (it closed) please do not think it " won't happen at my club" it can and does.

Never was when the club was in Clifford House and that was 1/4 the size of the new place. I've also wondered from afar how running that many competitions was sustainable, it's nearly double the number we ran back when I was involved and even then we sometimes struggled for numbers.

also they own the building so they dont have to pay rent and the electric costs are 100 pound per quater from the info i got given

Can I just add that Sea Angler magazine has never ever been a sponsor of Seaham SAC.
We did however, donate prizes for their annual open, as we do many other clubs across the UK.
This year, Sea Angler received no request for prizes for Seaham SAC for their annual open.
I suggest anyone wanting info on the club and their opens contacts the club direct.[/QUOTE Matchman has a very selective memory.
There are a quite few people who own DVD's of last years seaham open, and the one before that, where you are giving a interview and can be clearly heard to say how delighted SEA ANGLER is to be a MAJOR sponsor of seaham sea angling club!. I know because I have copies of BOTH..
