Been looking at the Bedlingtn SAC Website, and seen its spot on like, good info on fishhing marks around te blyth area etc..
Is there any other clubs with a website or anything like that.
Im interested in joining up with a club, preferebly abit closer to home than Bedlington like...
Work shiftS so any clubs which NEED you to attend meetings will probs be nee good though...
Any info will be spot on, cheers STEVEO

What about south shields its just doon the road from you so close to home, they have a club house on the start of the pier I dont think they have a website and you dont have to go to meetings or fish the comps if you dont want to, you can get a key and go into the club house if the weather is bad and make a cuppa.
There are a few members on here Andy 2009 is one and Waco (Bob) they may be able to point you in the right direction.;)

Cheers lads. I'll give them a look...

Hi bud, heard you were interested in joining a club. Well, I'm a member of the shields club, which has been ever growing bigger with new members this year. It is the oldest registered club in the UK, and still goin strong since 1938!! :o :D.

If you need plenty info about it please look on the link to the South Shields & District SAC website below:

Hope this helps you buddy. :)

if you have a look on the internet for Aline baits and tackle you will see a link for south shields. Joe who runs the shop is actually the chairman and he will point you in the right direction

Av already put the link up, no need to access another site un-necessarily when you can click to it directly.

If needbe though you can also access the old website and the new one via Google, on NESA, etc.

Looking at the site there is an open on the 13th November, do you have to be a member of the club to fish an open Andy.?

Just wondering as I would love a try of a comp but don't fancy joining a club I prefer to be a pleasure angler, also are all the clubs just South Shields club. IE Westoe club, Cleadon club etc confuses me.
