:o fished the crag at the sluice for a couple of hours last night, sea was massive and i mean big with the wind blowing hard in yer face, managed 1 small codling for my effort taking my lug bait. got a bit repreive whilst having a cup of tea i noticed a fox foraging on the beach looking for food, at least we can go home for our grub "poor bugger" may pop out later to use some more bait. korky.

Thank's for the warning Korky, that wind is certainly getting stronger and if the forecast is right it will get stronger still later. Strong north easterly's forecast so the sea will only get bigger   it looks big enough on the cams already.

I hope you have better luck if you pop out later and be careful mate.

Jim.

I had planned on King Eddies later but if this wind kees up i think i will give it a miss. Well done for putting up with it last night, different bit of scenery with the fox too.

the Crag is the last place I would fish these days, bet it is twenty year since I stood on that ledge, especially in rough weather, if you move to the right you will be able to see how thick the rock ledge you are standing on is, it no longer goes right to the bottom. Come on mate we don't want another tradgedy.

sorry for misleading you alan, but im not daft enough to fish the crag top itself nor the cliffs surrounding it i was actually fishing the small beach not far from the crag this if you look at my thread is where i observed the "fox" on the beach, but after all i can understand where you are coming from regards korky.
