Had a few hours spare today so grabbed my gear and some bait out the freezer.
Had 4 fish all together 6lb10oz 4lb8oz and a couple around 2lb.
My drop net came in handy again!

I can't see Santa getting that Excalibur TT down the chimney somehow.

Excellent fish mate, I saw some people on Seaham pier with the binoculars when I was fishing Hendon prom today, Hendon looked good and I had high hopes but it seems like not much was catching. Looks like I picked the wrong venue again !

Good fish mate. Me and my son was out the night before had a couple of bites and lost a nice one on the lift. It's nice to see the fish is there, spoke to you the beginning of this year when you had the 12lb and I got one the same night. Good luck for rest of the season

I wondered who was on that night! Was the sea not a bit big for the pier?
Unlucky on the lost fish mate I don't go down without my dropnet now.
If I'm there on my own I chuck it over and tie it to the post ready in case I need it.
, don't know why people don't use nets more often, plenty have been grateful for a lend of mine.
Plenty time for some pigs, hope you pull a few out!
