I'm having a go on Sunday. Don't normally fish matches because I don't like crowds, and always fish on my own. But as I'm on form Im going to take a deep breath. Looking forward to Sunday.
How times change. Back in the day we would get 1200 to 1400 fishing every year between the top of the Hall beach and Horden (the record was 2002 people fishing). The beaches would be shoulder to shoulder all the way down but it was a cracking match to fish.
Bigger boundaries and less than half that number fishing now - there's loads of room for everyone...
