hi folks, was thinking of joining up but was wondering if theres any members who live in crook or willington area who fish the pier who fancys sharing lifts now n again or doesnt mind someone tagging along as my mate i used to go with is unable to nowadays. dont mind fishing roker either but the chavs do me heed in thats why was thinking seaham might be the better option, cheers guys.

re chavs. roker is a load beter now that its policed, have not seen any of the sock over trackie crud (with their white cider, and so called crack), only worry is a a load of asian (japs/chinceys)(well racalist i know, but well knowen for taking any and all)

also seaham peir is a death trap comeing from one whom fished of their in the late 80's its got worse.

Don't know what dream world you live in roker pier will never get better as its open to the public so will always be open to chavs and p1ssheads i was on the other week with my son and it was a right mess and stinking of urine Seaham pier is under lock and key to prevent this and work is getting carried out on it all the time i think it might have changed a bit since you was last on there in the 80s

I'm from Hunwick and did join last year but decided against it this year as I was sick of watching people either climbing around the gate or climbing up the pier wall to fish then leaving the place a sh*t hole. I did hear some work had been carried out on the fencing but haven't been over for a couple of months so can't confirm. The beach did look as though it had been levelled though so much harder to climp up from it.
I'll let you know if I deide to rejoin, I've never fished Roker before, been on S/S a couple of times but fish Seaham Hall Beach ocassionally.

Strange comment for an open forum off 30 years ago seaham pier is safer now than ever before its had loads of work done to it.gate has being upgraded also security manned on a regular basis 510 menbers should tell you that?
