Seaham Blast beach

Planning on giving it a go soon. Last time I fished it must've been 30 years ago and can't remember much about it. Is it best 2hrs either side of high? How's it been fishing lately?

Hello mate the blast hasn't been fishing very well lately best fished last 4 hours of the flood strait after a northerly blow . Also there isn't many clear area's to fish about a 3rd of the way along to the cats eyes is about the cleanest ground the rest is quite rough ground pal hope this helps and good luck.

Cheers Geordie, might be worth having a reccy at low tide to suss out the worst bits then. I've only fished the Seaham area a couple of times many years ago but as its only up the road I fancy getting to know it better. Cheers again. Gaz.
