Seaham Hall Beach Tonight - 23/01/07

Well decided that conditions were spot on for Seaham Hall Beach, so off I went, armed with fresh yellowtails and big fresh peelers, jumping out of their shells....

First cast - resulted in this fine fish, a tad under 9lb. and a few scary moments in the breakers too...

....a couple of hours later, and this was the result...

....a nice enjoyable few hours on the beach...

Four fish for 18lb. - give or take a few ounces....just nice to feel that cod nod again - it seems so long!!!!!!

When I gutted it, it had 2lb. 9oz of roe in it....!!!!!!!!!

Anyone like eating roe? - a few of my mates like it in vinegar....

personally I think it's yuk!
