Seaham Marina.

Hi chris been looking at the website for mariner nd looks canny, looking for mine to go in water after the year I work in peterlee so would b great for the after work trips and plus my partner/boat sharer lives near by so would suit both of us, is there any spaces available and is there a deposit to b had to save a berth if dont mind me asking, cheers

Hi Chris, I filled in an application form and i'm waiting for word to go down and pay for the mooring, you can pay in installments or one full payment, theres no deposit to pay just first come first served. I want to get in early before next spring as it might fill up quickly. What size is your boat ? as there are limited mooring up to 6m then the prices rise for the bigger moorings,,,

Cheers chris get my mate to go see what the score is in morning, it's a wilson flyer 17ft mate, cheers for info mate I've let my friend know earlier nd he's getting excited as I wanted it nearer to me in shields but seaham meets both of us fairly so il just have to see what happens lol

Well that's the way I'm looking at at and only 20-30min drive from shields anyway so not really a problem, like the pontoon idea but don't like the Sunderland prices lol was gona work out over 2500 altogether when I enquired or 900 for a chain mooring, I know I'd prefer extra ten min drive to save that much and the benefit of closer to work for summer nights

Aye, Sunderland was a nice marina but the prices for pontoon mooring were daft...chain moorings and paddling bath tubs...not for me...Seaham isnt run by a money hungry consortium or the likes, so the prices should stay reasonable....

Well thanks for the info chris il have to see what the crack is when my mate goes tomorrow, fingers crossed could all b good news nd may see u dwn there if all goes well
