And thats why...

And thats why...

And that people is why I do not buy or use SONIK rods...

Unlucky to hear and sorry to hear of your mishap mate, had a mishap of my own a few days ago, though luckily without any 'snapping'.

Hope you get sorted. :)

how'd you snap that? Striking, casting or just falling over like young andy their :P

Which sonic was it, as use a couple... so a little concerned :)

He snapped it reeling up a whiting!!! :o :hallucine:

(read first post/(start of thread))

Yep I had an arse over tit moment me... :D:D:D

Just with that comment below wasnt sure

I can vouch for that cracking lads and no bother worth the trip;)

And it doesnt say it was reeling up a whiting... just he had caught some dude.
I've had 5lbers up the wall of shields on my 14ft and 16fter so unless somethings balls'd up dont get how it snapped.

see what the guy starting the post says... :)

sk4

sk4

it was the sk4 14 footer mate cant fault the rod lyk was my fault . instead of pulling the snag loose i kept trying too pull it free but i must of done so far too hard lol:eek:

Ah, my mistake, just the way its typed up it sounds as if it snapped doing that, im thinking instead of him typing 'wounded', im thinking snapped as he wound in... :p

Still wouldnt use one, heard of and seen to many snapping (bar your 16ft'er which is canny coz av seen you using it, great rod for long range on beaches :))

Lol need to slow your reading down andy matey ;) haha

Thats a weight off my mind :) I've got the 5-7oz one and been belting out some huge baits and worried/noticed the flex of it... 6oz lead with a big worm bait wrapped in a full mackerel fillet, being heavier than the lead haha.

It copes ok, just slows the action right down, understandably.

cheers for the info though.
