Fished seaham north last night from 8 till 11.30 when got om pier i was beaten to the drum by 4 other lads i was gutted so had to settle for no 5 armed with some crackin bait my session began i had a few small bites on cart resultin in a small cod which was returned to see another day at about 10.30 the tide pull started fully and one lad on number 3 managed a very fat 2lb cod on rag worm the only bait i never had lol next cast and he got another one out the same stamp so i started tipping my baits off with white worm and managed to get a decent whiting i thought i would have one more cast then head back home for work the next day so i put 2 whites on and blasted it 10 mins later my rod goes. Crazy after what seemed aged i got the fish to the side where it went crazy lucky the lad from num 3 grabbed my shocker and started to lift as the knot got stuck on top ring my hooks and rig held out and there was one fat stumpy cod laying next to me a lad on the pier weighed it for me and it went 7lb 3 oz so i packed up and left the lads on pier couldn't believe i just left after catchin it lol but that's work for you ill try and get a pic up for you to see its belly lol
