Seaham Open 2017

There are only about 6 opens from Sept to Dec north of the Tees, why Seaham have to pick the same day as Bedlington(who give their open dates 2 years in advance)is beyond me:confused:They did same last year

Proper prize money other opens should follow suit then the numbers will improve

Maybe, but I dont think so, in 1979 I won the Sunday Sun Open with a entry of over 700, my prize being a portable black and white telly. Only the Amble Open comes anywhere close to those sort of entries these days.

agree as SOUTH SHIELDs regulary got 500 + for their opens and a few other opens did as well back late 70 early 80s

Seaham open entry back in the 70's to 80's used to be in the region of 1000 mark just don't see entries anywhere in numbers like that nowadays

Next Sunday ladies and gents just thought I would mention that all competing anglers are eligible for the free raffle of a Zziplex T.R.C. BLANK brand new but you must be there in person .
Its a one off with it been the 50th year of the seaham open so good look to all who fish and tight lines .

Good luck to every one who fishes this competition today there is a fish out there with a GRAND on its back .
Don't forget the free raffle for the new Zziplex blank for all who go back to the headquarters after the match
Tight lines to all :)
