As promised update on North pier repair work
In the next couple of weeks we should see a start on the south pier access
work being carried out(steps-walkway-fencing-gates -etc.
In the mean time access to the north pier will be a fenced walkway for
members only.There will be limited parking in the back carpark so can all
members please carry your pass at all times.
The work should be starting on the north pier within the next 3-4 weeks
and will cease on the 31st of october and all the cabins etc will be removed
till march when the second phase of work will resume so parking will be back
to normal over the winter months.
Please have patience while this work is carried out its for our benefit in the long
run because these repairs are essentail and must be done.
End of the work means 2 x piers and safer for all who uses them when south pier
is open to the members it should be the same key as you use for the north pier
when this happens i will update on this thread.

You have to take ya gear on the pier to catch fish Kev not just walk along it mate lol

You're old enough to remember the days when we had to don hard hats and hi-viz vests and walk through the docks to get on there, a bit of a walk and a few steps is easy by comparison
