The only people with the power to enforce parking fines is the council; all Asda can do is send you an "invoice for lost revenue" and they will never go to court because no-one wants to set a precedent for a £5 fine (which is all the courts would award because they base it on lost revenue)
Anyway I'm off topic, but it is the same with all the private car parks (MacDonalds etc. as well)

being told today that work has started on the south pier access today so it looks like the north pier will be shutting in the next few weeks till 31st of october then re-opened till the end of march 2015
It's not worth a company taking it to court to enforce as the costs involved are more that what they would be credited back mate... As Stewart says, I think most people pop the letters in the bin
