the north pier right off the end can fish first of flood, also the south pier just down from round head i used to like it on still nights calm conditions medium sized tide 2 hrs either side of low water but no sure even if you are a club member if you are allowed on.
both piers can be very dangerous if any movement is on people take chances i dont or didnt when i used to fish these.
also membership is required to fish these great piers ie seaham sea angling club.
like most places darkness produces best and i think most would probaly agree bottom of water is not the best time but you never know wth fishing whats out there.
Alright dodgepot there has been some good fish off the drum head but mainly on flooding tide to high water peg numbers 15 to about 30 is normaly best on low tides mate should be plenty of whitings in the dark hours winds got to drop off a bit wedensday onwards good luck Geordie
Cheers for the advice, I joined the club last week but I'm popping to Seaham during the week on an errand and thought I'd have a few chucks while I'm there.
