as far as i am aware it will, the area behind the castle is being made into boat storage and where the porta-cabins are somethings happening there, and i think the north is having a revamp too.

not to sure but the bloke that locks up on a night lives a few doors along from our lass ill see what i can find out from him tomorrow, tbh thought its gonna be some major construction going on down there so im doubtful people would be able to get on.

right apparantly development has been put back to the 27th and as of yet it is unknown whether the north will still be accesible for seaham SAC members during the work, if i find out anything else i will post in here...........so does anyone have info on the south then?

never had any pollock from the south but i have had some nice cod from there to over 5lb make sure you take plenty of gear on the southy as you get alot of snaggs

I,ll second the end of the pier being apain in the ar-e. After snag frre fishing at Steetly went on the end of seaham and lost half a dozen rigs/leads.
It hurt.

Hiya all, I am Phil Brennan Chairman of the SSAC, I have had phone calls tonight informing that the North Pier at Seaham is about to close, THESE ARE NOT TRUE In 4 or 5 years subject to the funding being available the pier will close for approx. 1 year for refurbishment We at the club are raising the £26,000 required to install fencing required for us to be able to bring the south pier into use for club members. This is required due to anti terroism laws to protect ports, airports etc.If anyone wishes to contact me then its [email protected] or 07827445748 at anytime for clarification on any points.
Rumours are dangerous things, especially when they are wrong. THE NORTH PIER AT SEAHAM IS OPEN TO MEMBERS, ACCESS WILL BE VIA THE BACK OF CASTLE ONCE THE OTHER AREA IS SHUT OFF FOR WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT.Contact me anytime, please do not believe or spread untruths, check with us firstThanks to Karl for bringing this to my attention
Best regards Phil Brennan
