im new 2 the site and jst getting the hang of all this, im hoping that sum1 knows when the 1st seaham summer open is being held on the piers. think its a friday nite bt not sure when. cheers

The Seaham Summer Pier Open League starts off next Friday (19th) with fishing from 7-11 pm on pegged and zoned marks. Entry is £6 and this competition is for Penn Points.

Thanks lads, id read in the sea angler that the 19th was the date 4 the 2nd match so was trying 2 find owt if it was a mis-print or if there was a match a week earlier and sum1 recommended this site. gud stuff ! thnx

Registration iz from 5ish til 7pm at the club £6 plus optionals. last time i was there was in feb or march so not sure if there in the new building yet?

How did you get on on friday then lads? I had an absolute nightmare comp. Got there with 10 mins to go and realised that i had the wrong tip for my rod so had to go back to shields for the right one then managed to blank for the rest of the comp and then my mate managed to get 3rd place! What a night! I\'ll kick his arse next week tho!

you were lucky jamie,I DREW A PEG ON THE DRUM HEAD,CAUGHT FISH,but had to leave after an hr n half of fishing due to problems at work.The two lads fishen each side ov me got 1st n 2nd GUTTED

Is anyone doing the comp this friday? Me and another 1 or 2 of the lads are doing it. I know registration\'s from 5.15 but what time does registration close? Any help will do.
