Seaham Today

Woke up this morning to find a huge sea running at Seaham, i decided the other day that if there was a sea running today was gonna give it a go and the breakers look massive along the beaches.
Im gonna head out around 11am this morning and fish the tide up and around 2 3 hours of the ebb and into the darkness.
Heres hoping for a decent day.
If anyone has the day off and would like to try a few new marks pm me, ill be leaving around 11- 11:30 this morning.

drove past seaham on my way home from work last night and the sea looked good then. would love to go today but stuck at work all day. good luck anyway mate

Well it was far too big to hit the beaches, so i only managed to get on the white pole, but even there the water was coming over.
I only managed around 4 casts before i decided to be safe rather than sorry. managed 1 decent size rockling and a crab.

sorry didnt reply sooner mate, set off early sat morning to get to the match. ended up on the flat rock sat night hoping for a bit of shelter but still got a good battering..lol
should be back up in a couple of weeks
