interested in fishing Seaham,fished there when pits were open,whats it like now,also how do you get a pass for the pier.Wheres the best marks,used to fish the blast with the old man and set a fire with big lumps of coal off the beach,them were the days,appreciate any advice.

just call in to the new club house building over the road from the entrance at the top opposite surestart i think its 19 quid and you will get a key for the gate on the pier(morning time is best 10 til 12 i think .
the gate to go down to the pier is for disabled anglers or the boat club members.

Seaham Angling club isnt open everyday.The best time to catch someone is either a Thursday Morning or the day of a Competition.
Its 25 quid per year, this covers Key to the gate, Insurance when in the north dock area and your membership.
To become a member you would need to take 2 passport photos with you.

If you are interested in fishing Seaham, give me a shout in PM, ive been fishing marks in Seaham for over 15 years now, and know the good the bad and the ugly spots, aswell as the odd good spot.I'd be happy to tag along im off work for the next 2 weeks or so, so anytime during that period.

The green wall with a good sea running is as good a spot as you will find anywhere. The flat rock is also worth a chuck. Try casting 60yds to the right and it should put you in a deep hole. Its never failed me.

how do you get to the flat rock , i tried to find the green wall but it looked like your fenced in i thought i was going into the dock area .
