seahouses breakwater

I will be up Seahouses again this Sunday and will be talking to a few of the boat anglers up there. Will also be taking my spinning rod as usual. Will post the results on Sunday night.

MickA still suspect it wil be end of May to June before they are off the shore here. The will get them off the shore down there earlier, they are also getting a few on certain marks in Ireland. howitzer won his zone in a match at Portsmouth with mackerel off the beack in mid November last year. They had also been getting Garfish just weeks before.

almost certain they get Mackerel all year round in the right conditions from the south west, not sure if thats off the boats or shore mind

willy anth has not been on site since posting so we ll have to wait and see if its a wind up between mates (which will be ok) or its someone taking the .... out of everyone.
wwts

ninga don\'t worry about it mate.

Just worked everything out today and am still in shock mate.

Can\'t understand why. Waiting for a PM to explain why I should bother my arse looking after this.

Hoping I get that PM or this is going to be my last post on NESA.

Jim.

jim you must be realy pi**ed off with something or someone if this maybe is ya last post m8, hope ya get ya pm m8, would be sad to lose you ;)

cheers
mark :D

i have regular contact with macky down at holderness and theres no reports down there yet,id say definitly too early for our end unless the warm weathers brought a few strays in

Hi, Anth usually a good benchmark is to watch for the first of the arctic terns diving for the sprats. it starts to pick up from there JIM dont let this bother you. it\'s people like yourself and the majority on this site who talk common sense that make it worthwhile coming on and just browsing or making constructive comment

Would the NESA member logging in as kipperfillet please expain their post as we are about to lose a valueable moderator and poster ,I\'m sure we\'d all accept if your posts didn\'t read the way you wanted them to ... it happens .

Sorry I didnt post any results last night but it was late when I got back.
3 small coalies and one codling from the shore. talked to some of the lads who have boats and none of them have heard of any mackeral being caught. The lads who have the lobster pots would love to get thier hands on a few mackeral.
Jim, dont let this tosser get to you. You are better than that.

divvint blame me lol.i only look after the bit down the bottom lmao

there are reports coming out of flat rock at East Tarbet of macky being caught but its one of those \"he said\" things

ive been reliably told it has to do with the water clariity

as for kipperfillet the real mods and admin will have it in hand ;)

Glad to be of help to anyone Mark.Got to Seahouses about 10.30am, commenced fishing with worm and some old mackie I had left over. While the baits were in the water i had a go with my trusty spinning rod ( never go anywhere without it ) 4 f*****g hours and my arm was killing me. Not a thing on the spinners/feathers. gave my arms a rest and carried on with the baits. As rerported before, not a lot. had another go at spinning in the afternoon, still nothing. Gave up about 5 oclock and went to talk to a few mates. They thought I was mad trying to catch anything with a spinning rod this early in the year. well i had to try just to prove a point. the next time i try this early in the year I will be using kipperfillet for bait.
