LOL phil , yup agree ..... i tried to beat the wind by going out at 5.00am .... I beat the start but it soon got up . as for the fish they stayed at home ..... one ling for 4 hours fishing .... (and a few mackerel)
oh and a lot of bruises after falling over several times in the conditions
I got out for 5 hours of hartlepool but had to come in early due to the swell and wind. Catch 2 cod, 3 mackrel, 4 whities and a few pleggies.
Still it beat staying in the house.

Fished Blyth pier last night for a few hours for Mackerel/colies,nowt doing but the wind swung round to the South and got quite nasty so I dont suppose you lads will be out today either unless it was settled at first light this morning
Jason John told me about the probs when I rang last night, at least he did get you out there, he is a real trier. Should have been out with him today but once again the weather had the last word.
Dav
you are right about john. One of the best things is that he does not rip you off as he does charge by the hour (unlike some skippers.)
Dav see my other post do you fancy a day out during the comp (if we get a full boat we will get on johns boat)
Jason regarding the Festival Trip, would love to go but can\'t be sure I will be in the country for that week. When I have more idea I will contact you to see if there are any places vacant, ok?.
