Ever heard of the placebo effect. If the Pharmacist tells you it will work then you believe him then chances are it will work.Theres allsorts of remedies and I am sure they will all work but not for every individual.i used to fish every day possible on my dads boat when I was 16,and would get sea sick travelling down the river and between the piers.I didnt take any pills or listen to anyones tips I just grinned and vomitted. After about six months it stopped even in big rolling swells,I think that my body just got used to the motion of the boat, and even though I havent been out regularly for many years when I do go out on a boat I dont suffer sea sickness.

Ginger is renowned for combating Motion Sickness, obviously there are different methods of taking it, ginger nut biscuits are more of a ginger flavour than an actual ginger extract. Ginger tablets can be obtained at chemists or vitamin suppliers. Another unlikely source to help combat it is 'Coke Cola' ...... something to do with the chemicals used in making the stuff. (cheap cola no good). But like anything else, what works for one does not necessarily work for another.
