fished collywell over high water today,sea absolutley massive.was going to give up after 2 chucks but pleased to say stuck it out and put an end to a run of blanks and missed fish with a 6lb 9oz cod!.Had a tiny knock on ro tip so picked rod up,felt a couple more knocks then BANG!proper pull down.after a very hairy moment landing it with waves crashing off rocks i found the little knocks had been a little rockling which had taken my crab and mussel bait and the cod had taken the rockling:o,Have heard of that happenin before but never experienced myself,so away 4 a few pints now lads.Pics to follow,on phone but cant get phone onto computer.
 
well done mate fished the craig had a good flattie then moved to block house hole hooked a big one had to pump it in , but the waves took it under the cliff so it lives to fight another day . well done on yours mate.

Fished our Nationals in Kent last month and the biggest was 6lb cod which had taken a size whiting. Two for the price of one and a bit cash in the pocket. :D
