fished south of seahouses today in the comp.

got there at 7 sharp this morn after drive from seaham.

only 2 other lads joined me today, expected a lot more.

well, what a day, this had to be the arse whipping of a life time

wessy had 5, daley had 3 , i had 1. all wrasse and cod.

most fish coming from on the drop tide, i did lose 3 fish and one felt loke a guddin which snagged me up. think if i was casting 50 yards to the right and had white worm , might of been a different day for me. good learning curve like look forward to next open

unlucky mate i also fished the open today could only manage coalies that were just undersize off the emblestones, that wind made it hard going some nice fish weighed in tho anyone know where the heaviest fish came from?

aye there were a lot of seals on there today never seen so many, were u fishing along the end mate? i fished halfway along just before u start heading towards the heavy kelp
