Seaton sluice

Need some info on the above fishing the harbour entrance at high water is it worth a shot ? Cheers for any advice

I've fished the old entrance behind the kings arms a few times. Very rough ground but fish about . Can't comment about the current entrance

fish the harbour wall, casting towards blyth pier, fishes well, but expect to lose gear, fish the beach side and it's as other beaches,
as said from meggy's burn to sluice harbour there's bass on at the moment.

am oot plenty m8, just not fishin..........!

At the moment, river is spewing lots of dead leaves and twigs, but thats when fishing on the beach near the entrance.
Under normal winter conditions with a bit sea running , it can fish quite well for codlings.
