Selling my Boat

I made the decision last week to sell Jester. I'd thought about it on and off for a couple of months but after a sad event over xmas its going to go.
The first grand daughter is arriving in 3 weeks so i'm going to spend more time with the family which means i need more cash. I hav'nt advertised it nationally yet, just word of mouth down the marina and i have a viewing tomorrow, so i'll keep you informed....Was going to wait till the end of april before advertising......:)

:(

Always welcome to come out with us Chris and i mean it.

Whoever buys your boat is getting a fantastic bit of kit. If only I had the cash.

good luck mate

Very sad news mate proper gutted for you but family comes first had some mint trips out with you and some class crack no doubt it will sell straight away its gleaming keep in touch mate as i have plans to get a vessel later this year and owe you a few trips

Certainly is mate just hope the Right one comes up before the season ends looking at a 20fter hope all goes well for you and your family mate and you dont spoil the grandkids too much

someones gonna get a beauty of a boat....but i hope this isnt the end of jesters fishng adventures!!...just grab yaself a little dingy and go cheap cheap! lol

Don't do it mate! I know I don't feel right if I don't have a boat! Is there any way you can take on a partner and share the costs? Marina/running/insurance etc and for them to buy 50% of the boat from you? That's what me and Micky do to try and easy the burden of a bloody expensive sport/hobby/passion!

Graham.

Hi Chris, What a tough decition to have to make not that long after getting her, but like Deano says, family comes first. There will be a big hole on this forum without Jester reports, but I'm sure you will still be on hear giving advice and bantor to everyone.
Sad, saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad day mate.:(:(

once you start playing with the grand kids you will get great enjoyment from them, they keep me going not being able to sea fish at all.

Been reading this since you first posted it Chris , but didn't really know what to say, most of the things I was thinking have been said, the rest I'll keep to myself , if I type them here I might end up selling my boat :(
All the best with whatever you do this year, I'm sure you'll get out plenty mate even without your own boat ;)

I accepted an offer on the boat today after 2 lads viewed it yesterday, and i thought i'd never sell it at this time of year. Thanks for all your comments lads :):)

Bloody hell that was fast mind you i know what condition the boat was in so i had no doubt it would sell is it staying local mate or off down the country again we will have to arrange a bit shore fishin before it ends all the best mate
