session today

Went out today with me son,we had a canny session,caught 17+ fish,we lost count.Fish caught were coaley,codling,pout.
All went back alive bar me sons 3lber,few pics too cheers Davey.

well done-i have never caught a Pouting from any pier.

I was surprised myself Mick,we ended up with three of these,my dad used to fish here and he caught them(think he called em "scotch haddock")any one on here heard that name for pout???

Where you fishing the shields comp???Coz i remember talking to some one there,think he had a silver merc if that was you.

yeh that was my mate paul l was the one with the black cap on dark skin and baldy he had a undersize coalie to only seen one sized cod come in gonna hit walkway tonight use up bait

yes thats they are called as well, also known as scotchies and have been told off a reliable scource they are very nice to eat and not at all boney like a lot of people say

next time i catch one and your on pier there yours m8.by the way they showed up on the first or the ebb.Have you had any on the pier seen as you fish it alot??
