Shads Rule

Took advantage of the lighter winds and hit the wrecks as there are a few fish starting to show. The inside wrecks did not produce, moved to the wrecks further out and 5 out of 6 wrecks gave up some good fish. Ended the day with 20 odd fish, average size 5/6lb, three on the 9/10lb mark and one 12lb.
Most of the fish were taken on the Toon Army blue holographic shads, with the Hollow Bellys
a close second - normally the other way around.
Forecast is for lighter winds the morra so will have another go tomorrow before the winds pick
up again for the weekend.

Hi Chris,
I we had good day with a decent stamp of fish, got a bit lumpy but what the hell when
your catching fish.
Will give you a bell next trip I am home and you can have a trip out with us.

Nice one Davey, it was a bit bumpy the other day when i was out and your right it doesn't seem to be there when the fish are on.

Everyone is getting a buzz on now, including me.

We fish 90% of the time with shads and sidewinders but hell you can go through some.

I Arthur they are doing the bizz at present, great when you dont have to worry about baits .
Then theres the conservation thing I suppose, glad the lumps of lead and three muppet days are over - does that rig still get used???????????????
