Bert, Kenny, Kyle & myself this morning, we headed out about 6.30am.
The fishing was very slow, it was about 10am before we landed a fish, we ended up with 13 cod mainly from the 3 mile wrecks. Kyle was top man catching 7 of the 13 fish . Biggest fish was just under 10lb
Nice one Keith, good to see the wrecks are starting to give fish, well for Kyle anyway . I woke up with a slight "headache" this morning, probably to do with working down in wales all week and finally getting back friday . . . . well done mate.
Yes its good to see the fish showing and they seem very clean this year, not heard anyone complain about marks and such on them like the last couple of years.
Norman the sea air would have cleared your head once the fish start biting all pain goes away, it does for me anyway...thats why i am on pain killers every day
You cant let 1 day go to waste after the weather of the last couple of seasons.
aye rich lol but didn`t I go and believe the forcast as well lol never mind , next week will be along soon ....... in fact it`s into evening fishing season now with the sun up for so long
I hate to think how many boat trips have been lost over the years because of the poor weather forecast. You would think that they could get the bloody direction right at least never mind the wind spead and swell size lol.
