Just Bert and myself this morning, we had a lie in so out for 6.30am.
First stop a wreck right at the pier end and I was in to a fish first drop but sadly it game off half way up. Chance missed as there was no further action there so we headed off to the next wreck where Bert took a nice cod about 6lb and I got nowt which sort of set the tone for the morning.

Headed to some inshore wrecks further south in an attempt to gain shelter from the wind, good move as there was some canny cod to be had, well for the skipper. He was bang on form today taking cod on both shads and pirks. The score got to 10-0 at one stage and the dummy, rattle, blankets and mattress were well and truly chucked out the pram
Finally I managed a few fish to save the blushes and we headed in about 11.30am with a canny box of 20 cod.

Thanks for a cracking morning Bert I really enjoyed it, especially netting your fish
