Bert, Jim & myself fished the Beehive Winter Breakaways comp today, fishing was between 8am and 1pm. We stopped at a 3 mile wreck and picked up a few Coley and Jim got a codling. Not much else so we headed off to 6 mile wrecks, again not much happening apart from a dozen or so mackerel. Back on three mile wrecks Bert bagged this fine pollack which combined with other bits & pieces got him heaviest fish and heaviest bag.

Well the pollock was a nice suprise on a pretty poor day all round ! lots of miles for little reward ! you dont normaly expect a pollock on a 10/0 hook baited with a full side of mackeral ........but im not complaining
