SHADY H Catch report 3/4/16

Well the weather looked canny for a few hours afloat and it was Shadys first trip of the season so myself Keith and Jim set off out today ,armed with just about every bait we could get ower hands on we left the boat club at 8am and at the pier end wks for most of the morning ,it was hard work today with not much tide movement and a beautiful day but we managed a few for the pan , about a dozen good hard fighting codlings up to just under 5lb for ower efforts,good to get back into the swing of things
So its official the season has started ...sleepless nights here we come ....cant wait

I saw that Shady was back in the water in time for the new season, so was waiting for the catch reports to start coming in. You look to be back in the swing of things and finding the fish already.

We Just hugged the pier end Tony ! with a little dash off 3 mile to a few wrecks then back to the harbour mouth snags ,all fish came from inside its great this time of year when the crab start to show,they fight like bull terriers in the shallow water
