Jump in the motor and get yaself over here m8 if you fancy a bit of shore fishhing, there's always shelter. I was on Port William pier last night pulling up doggies two at a time and loads of flounder out the harbour side. There was huge mullet in the harbour too. I had planned to go down to the Isle of Whithorn tomorrow morning but changed it to Burrowhead cos of the wind direction.

Hi Graham shame you could not make the skate fishing, Sat was fantastic but you missed nothing on the Sunday due to poor weather.

I love that part of the UK and hope to have a few days in Dunskey castle pollack fishing in a few months time.

Hope your settled in now up there.

I was sure dave told me it was the 29th lol. My mrs hadn't been back to Newcastle since we left and the trip co-incided with the skate weekend. I couldn't talk her out of it. I was gutted when Dave told me it was the same weekend

I'm off pollock fishing in the morning, might be a bit early but I'm impatient lol, if there's non about I'll fish for wrasse and doggies. I hardly got out at all during the 2009/10 seasons cos was too busy getting the house sorted but I'm gonna try and get out at least three times a week from now on. I've just found a new bass mark that I know has never been fished before because it was inaccessable. I only found it cos I do volantary work for the RSPB. There's been some good sea trout caught quite near too, cant wait til the season is in full swing as I know it's gonna be the best I've ever had

Let me know when you're off to Dunsky and I'll join you for a session m8
