Was a toss up between Seaham Pier or Sharpley yesterday. Crap Tides made my mind up in the end. 
Got there about 2.15pm & could only go on a 4 hour ticket cos i hadnt enough bloody change. Anyway,John said "Dont worry, theres nowt coming out. Even Gary cant get a Fish."
Got fishing by 3pm & had 4 out on buzzers in 30 minutes.
Only had 1 more by Tea at 4.30pm. All on the Doxford Lake.
Back out about 5.30pm after some good craic in the Lodge & headed to the Hangmans to see if anything was rising there.
Very little rising & hardly saw a Fly all afternoon.
Managed another on there off the top & had a few follows on Drys before heading back to the Noose & Doxford to try Lures. Had a few takes on the Noose but didnt net any more.
Packed in at 7pm, well pleased with 6 fish in what was probably just 3 hours fishing. :thumbup:
