Braved the wind yesterday, it wasnt too bad till late on, mind you inexpierieced casters would have had a nightmare. Plenty fish being caught. The guy next to me had a 10 and a 14. I had a 4 and two 3s, returned one around 4, and a nice brownie.
Wish theyd add a windbreak. nowt between my arse and denmark sheltering me.

Nice one Paul,it was quite calm early on when i got up but like you say it picked up again by about 10.30am,was there many fishing ?

I got there about 0745, I was 3rd. Till about 930 there were only about 6 or 7, buy 11 there were no empty jetties on the Doxford. I moved rond the side about 1 pm, even tho It was howling I hate hugging jetties all day.
Two of the guys who were there before me had 4 before Id even set up, 8 am!
Plenty fish feeding. I took mine on an Olive pattern of my own. pm me your address, Ill send you a couple.There were some big fish taken on Diawl Bachs. A guy near me returned one about 9 lb, but It went belly up. He was visibly upset. Said he would rather have taken and paid for it, but we just couldnt reach it with the net.
