Thanks to Terry for all his advice, the theory was right just poorly executed by myself im afraid.

just got to keep it up m8 the fish a sharply always put up a good fight if they don't then there is something wrong with the fish.
fished there a few times and lost one or two myself
just get ya sell back and try again that's fly fishing for you with barbless hooks best of luck on ya next outing m8 :red:
