That's a great looking boat and you brought the good weather with it. Is that Amble Marina you're launching in?

Yes , it's Amble marina , the picture is in Amble boat yard but the boat is in the marina , much to Richys relief no doubt :D , but my contract runs out the end of March ................. so who knows where she will be stationed when things hot up ;)

I'm just browsing through some of the pictures we took of the launch , everything looks so relaxed in stills but nothing could be further from the truth , those guys were on a mission to get her in the water and I've never been so stressed as I was trying to berth her in an easterly facing berth with a brisk south westerly hitting her beam on as I tried to turn her into the berth ........... I need some lessons in boatmanship I think :red:

wow, she looks class, and very seaworthy. What size outboard:question: Bet she won't spend much time in the marina:):)

115 Yamaha motor , hopefully some sea trials in the next few days , sort the gear out on her , find a place for everything , get the cushions and stuff I don't want fishing off and then a few trips out to put the wrecks in my new plotter ............ might actually get fishing sometime this year :D

Great choice Ray, she's a beauty :). Windscreen wiper needs moving over a touch,;)

Ha ha! :D I hadn't noticed that in the pics , I had to clear the screen both sides and use the wiper to see where I was going when I motored across to the marina , I'm sure it's in it's proper place now since using it. I remember thinking it didn't clear much of an area to look through compared to a car

Ray

Ray, i only noticed because i changed the wiper blades on mine at the weekend. One to remember, the wiper arms are slightly wider than the car ones, i split the plastic adaptor pushing it on, so i'll have to look for a M/F compatible pair. Look forward to seeing some pics of the cabin interior, engine, etc....hint hint...;)

Spot on Duncan , I wanted to call her after my mistress , but the wife was having none of it :D , can't wait to get her covered in fish guts and scales (the boat not the mistress :o) , I was up there this afternoon putting marks in the plotter and trying to work out where fishing tackle and such should go.
Typically I was working yesterday when the sun was out and at the boat today when it was miserable and wet
