Nice fish then I only got a scaby rockling from Whitburn but a lad next to me had 2 fish out but to be honest I never seen him pull out in I spoke to him he got very snotty he was not local he said he was from Scarborough
His two fish were very red celp cod after speaking to him he just gave me black looks so if any one went back to weight in must off seen him there

By the sounds of it the Scarborough guy is a total burk . Hope his rod and reel go over the side. Costs nowt to be civil at least. Did the cod he had look fresh caught ???????

How did the fish not look fresh. If you had any suspicions or concerns they should have been raised at the weigh in with the officials. Its to late to go on about it now.

its possible to get ed cod from that area and that coast line,also have seen red cod from groyne and from varioius marks south shields PIER

The guy from Scarborough is a very good rock angler and he always does well in open competitions, I myself have weighed in some good bags of cod from this angler , and I can guarantee that all fish that were weighed in this year were fresh caught fish, we ( South Shields sea angling club )had 5 lads on the weigh in table and another one over looking all issues , any issues should have been brought up on the day lads and not speculated about after, cheers mark

I think I need to go get my eyes tested then must off been invisible fish any way it's done now
