Sheilds open

I was just in front of him at the weighing in and my opinion the commity bottled it.. when youve got Gary pye who grafted all day to catch lagit fish...

Micky

Easy for you to say The Committee Bottled it every one can have there say but was there any proof that he didn't catch them there is a few people out there who you can accuse of cheating as usual the South Shields Open why didn't some one come forward with the proof of some one cheating every one can talk about it on here when its to late ????? AS USUAL

In the boot of his car?

Well if you are happy giving him your £14 well crack on lol

fished jarrow park down the road from the church seen him at the end had just flattys we had mixed bag he caught them in the river leading to the tyne
that is the river don and it is out out bounds SO IF HE DID FISH THERE HE CHEATED [/B

also if people had read the rules properly in the first place, they would have known this fellow was out of bounds they then would have been able to tell the commitee at weigh in where this fellow had fished and they could had setlher he fished edw it there and then instead of coming out several days late,r when it is too late

After all the carry on over this,i'm wondering (1) will he be aware of it,and
(2) will he have the balls to turn up at another big open!....:o

Don't be daft, the bloke has been at it for years and he knows everyone else knows but seems he thinks he's gonna keep getting away with it.
Its an awkward one for the shields club commitee and don't let this dirtbag detract from what is a very well ran and regarded open as they really need solid proof or somebody to officially object at the weigh in to have taken action but surely now after 3 consecutive years of questions about him he will be barred for good,as he is in 2 or more opens north of the tyne? (he admitted fishing out of bounds last year, and year before tried his trick with the wrasse, but the fool didn't read rules and realise they were not allowed to be weighed in.)
Well done to the winner by the way and also to Pye who we all know had heaviest bag!

Robbed !

Robbed !

More than 200 people I believe, and all Robbed at the same time off this one man....

Joe,out of those 71 you say don't have the balls, how many where aware at the time or even fished the open? haway.
I personally asked him to let us search his car/box before selling him a ticket in our open 4 or 5 years ago and he refused so was then refused entry, this was after a few years of accusations and suspicions.he has also been turned away from another weigh in north of tyne and barred from sluice open so yes those people "have the balls" as you put it.
Nobody is having a pop at your committee,if you read through the posts properly you will find most people agree its hard without actually catching him at it but the general feeling now is that like the opens north of the tyne, perhaps now the best option is not to let him enter in the first place.

spot one mate one of the undesirables why refuse a boot search unless there was summat to hide, even though a bootsearch wouldnt stop them cheating just make them more wary,

Well who ever runs the South Shields Open next year i think the best thing to doe is sell the tickets on the day from the New Crown then you can see who is entering the comp like it used to be, And may be it will get rid of all these cheating anglers.

Innocent until proven guilty.CORRECT. . Sorry but when asked where he had fished, and he replied I don't know? . I would have asked him to show the committee where he had been ? If he had refused. DISQUALIFIED.
