Sheilds Thursday nite

Fished the small wall 1 hour down right back up 2 the top ov tide first cast a nice 3lb cod followed by Plenty of ytings, 2 hours up and a lovely slack liner which resulted in a cod of 5lb 14oz buzzing , added another about 2lb amongest the yting. Packed. Up an hour back freezing but really enjoyed it will b back soon. Will figure out how 2 upload pics

i came up about 8.30pm and fishing the SE corner till about 2.30am, must have had 25-30 whitings, all size, kept the ones deep hooked/knackered, i looked in the bag when i got home expecting 4 or 5, but oh no, 12... i just sighed and started filleting lol

No codling showed probs because whiting hit the bait 1st, i even caught on a whiting spewed out by another whiting... whipped it on and cast it back out.
