Local lad!!!! Paul harra cleadon club angler. 9lb 2 Cod. We sprinted down the cliffs at 4.30 to get the winning fish, bearing in mind the weigh in was 5pm. After 20mins he come back drenched holding what he thought was 6lb. I grabbed the fish sprinted up the grotto steps chucked the fish in jamie brennans car, then legged it to my car as I had fish to weigh (4.5lb,1.8lb). The fish was easily 8 ish from weight, he took the lift as he was shattered ha. Got to the weigh in for 4.55pm. Epic..great day and well done Paul.

Well done harra, cracking fish! how far up was the tide when you went round for the fish? Them cut off points on the 1st and 2nd bays are above head height with any sea running at high water! or did you swim round?
