Had some left over bait so decided to head for ss pier got straight to the end at about 5.30 pm set my gear up but waited half an hour before casting as the tide pull was massive bites were almost instant ended up with 8 whities, the bait was only in the water for a matter of seconds and thump thump, a lot of the bites I couldnt connect but great sport none the less, weather was perfect

Plenty a rattles on your rod tip keeps you busy. Any whities decent size to test your new rod out ?

well done on the catch l had same problem on friday night some cracking bites but could'nt connect not long for the winter run

all the fish were undersize i lost 2 sets of gear but the bites kept me busy them whities dont half give u a good knock on the rod tip
