Shields pier 02/06/13

Fished today from the small wall using fresh crab and first cast sees me land a lovely plaice not sure of the weight but It was quite thick. Fished from 11-6 with fish coming all stages of the tide.
I ended the session with 1 plaice 3dabs and 4 codling. All fish returned to live another day apart from my plaice

Lovely Plaice mate, I'd say somewhere around 1 3/4 to 2lb from the size, nearer 2lb if it was thick. Looks like summer is finally starting to arrive
