Shields pier 14/05/14

Fished the pier today 1pm till 7pm, started at se corner had double shot of dab and flounder 23cm and 33cm first chuck. Moved to 44 about 2ish when the tide started pulling me all over in to snags but didn't get a bite in hour or so there. Moved to first gate but lost 2 lots of gear in 3 chucks so moved to brigade hut for last couple of hours but not a bite! Baits used frozen blacks n fresh crab.

least yer never blanked mate. bet yer thought you were in with the double shot..but.

Not the best day's fishing at the pier today mate. Thought you would have at least got some flatties at the brigade hut with the water in the bay being so flat.
