fished shields pier an hour before low water on the small wall on the 2nd cast landed a decent codling of 1lb 14oz, graham (2rods) had a nice pout of 1lb 4. and scotty(the viking) had a canny plaice 1lb 7oz a few more fish came out but not on size,bait used was fresh crab,lug and rag. by the way the makrel came out in force all the way through the tide and the lads that fished for them all had good bags. all in all acanny day. p.s. got some pics on me phone but a dont know how to put them on here, al try later.

Was on the pier myself spinning with a silver minnow, caught myself 2 macky though I wasn't there for long, great fun on light gear. Some of the lads were pulling up 3-4 at a time, 1 of the lads had 54 when I left lol.

Was talking to a top bloke at the first gate when I got on pier and when I left, sorry I never got ya name but it was nice meeting you.
