headed down for 6.30pm. first shot was the 39 mark had 2 small tommys. move up to blocks not a sniff so headed for small wall then action started. first cast a canny coalie just about every cast l was pulling fish coalies 7 sized plaice 1 undersized tommys lost count and a canny yty all fish returned but kept yty by 10.30pm it went quiet so tryed southeast corner had one knock so give up by 1am rag done the damage nothing big caught but all in all a canny nights fishing

I was the lad who parked near you in the car park mate. Me and my pal (dogrunner) fished about 43 mark. We had a good few fish but mainly dabs and small codling. We got 2 sized dab about 30cm and I got a codling just over sized (about a lb). Bites dried up quickly on the sea side strangely as it got dark so we tried the harbour side for the last hour. Some good bites every cast with small codling being the result. Had a few better knocks but I seemed to snag up every cast with my rod nodding away resulting in lost fish and tackle. Lovely night for fishing though and nice to get a sized codling after a while
