Shields pier 3.08.09

Took my mam along fishing for 3hrs, pier was busy but not that bad.

1st cast hit into a mackerel and it was steady away for next 3 hrs with me taken 26 mackerel, 44 sandeel and 4 coalie.

My mam landed 6 coalie, 1 mackerel and about 15 sandeels as well as a nice pollack.

All fish fell to mackerel bait of daylights.

Sea was abit choppy but was nice day, aslo good to see you Pondlife would have chatted more but i get into the fishing so much

Nice to meet another member Richie. no probs about the chit chat, you like a man on a mission.From watching you for abit you seem to have the art of lure fishing on south shields pier down to a "T".
ive never had a session like that before, unbelievable.

well done mate havent had a mackerel session like that this year most av had is bout 10, time yet a suppose, well done to ur mother, did better than me at shields pier the other day
